In December 2014 we were present at the Kagyu Monlam office for the first year. We communicated about the project and sold specially designed t-shirts and bags.
We gave out leaflets explaining our project, the activities of the Shedra and how to support us.
From then on, we created a Facebook account.
During last 2015 Monlam in Bodhgaya, we offically presented our project of the guest-house.
To promote the project, we organised an event and we were blessed by the presence of Lama Jigme Rimpoche and other masters.
We offered cookies made of Tsampa inspired from the cookbook The Voyage. All the donations we received over that event helped us keep the project going on.
We created a charity in France, Diwakar Guest House Kalimpong to raise funds to finance the project.

We were delighted to reveal you the plan of the guesthouse during our last event in Bodhgaya. We are very thankful to our dharma friend architect who after many times spent in Kalimpong could design us a beautiful building , which is matching the expectation of HH Sharmapa. Both simple and so close to the nature, taking advantage of the beautiful surroundings of the hills of Kalimpong.
